The Next Generation of Leadership for Franklin County.

A proven champion for rural communities.

Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, I understand how special this region is, and I also know that there are unique challenges. Over the past five years, I’ve served the 1st Franklin under the leadership of former State Representative Natalie Blais, working in partnership with our local, state, and federal leaders. My values are rooted in community and collaboration, and a persistent hopefulness that we can make this region, and the Commonwealth, a better place to grow and thrive, for all.

We are in a critical moment for Franklin County. Our municipalities are facing heartbreaking budgetary choices, our population is declining, and we are coping with the effects of long-term economic disinvestment.

But we’re fighting back. Together, we’ve raised our voices on Beacon Hill—now it’s time to hold state leaders accountable for their promise to invest in rural communities.

Let’s Talk: Regional Equity in Massachusetts

Priority Issues

Climate

Addressing climate change is not only an environmental imperative, it’s an economic, public health, and social justice issue. If we want future generations to be able enjoy the natural world, we must act now.

Education

Ensuring we have strong public schools in rural communities is not only an education issue, it’s an economic, community stability, and equity issue. If we want to thrive, we must fix how the state funds our rural schools.

Infrastructure & Transportation

Rural towns face proportionally higher transportation costs because they maintain more roadway miles with aging infrastructure. State funding must reflect rural realities and enable our communities to fairly compete with towns across the state.

Public Health

Your zip code shouldn’t determine your ability to access healthcare. Let’s strengthen our community health centers, fight for integral rural hospitals, and bring more healthcare workers to Western Mass.

Made up of 17 towns and half of the City of Greenfield, the 1st Franklin district covers 453 square miles and the most rural house district in Massachusetts. It includes the towns of:
